Aulps Abbey: interactive tours of the estate
Our interactive tour (in French) gives visitors the chance to play the starring role in their own tour! Using lots of accessories, the one-hour activity recreates a typical day in the life of a monastic community: singing in the church, changing in the sacristy, a meeting in the chapter house, washing in the lavatorium, meal times in the refectory, strolling through the cloister's galleries.
Takes place every Wednesday in July and August at 4pm

Aulps Abbey: evening torchlit tour
This unique night-time tour of Aulps Abbey sheds light on the history of the monastery, giving visitors the chance to become "monks" for a while. Using authentic props, you'll learn about daily rituals: singing in the church, changing in the sacristy, a meeting in the chapter house, washing in the lavatorium, meal times in the refectory and strolling through the cloister's galleries.
Takes place every Monday evening in July and August at 10pm (in French).

Murder-mystery at the Abbey, a game in the abbey's grounds
The lifeless body of brother Adelme has been found at the foot of the wall beneath the main terrace. How could he have fallen there? Did someone push him? Suspecting another monk at Aulps Abbey, the abbot asks visitors to solve the mystery.
This game, played outdoors, is suitable for adults and teenagers over 16yrs.
Price: 7€ per person.
A minimum of 15 people must be booked to take part in this game (by prior reservation only).
