Lindarets Goats
It’s official: the much-anticipated arrival of the Lindarets goats is planned for May 25th 2012! All summer, the herd will be taking up residence in the hamlet, ready to meet the children! Lindarets – known locally as the goat village - is ideal for families with its traditional Savoyard architecture, its old chalets and slate roofs. Visitors love looking around and then enjoying a refreshing cold drink on a sun terrace at one of the restaurants there, or even a delicious meal...while children tend to the hungry goats! Expected to arrive last week-end of May.

Celebrating 800 years since Aulps Abbey’s consecration
Open to all visitors and residents alike, this unique event is planned for Saturday 26 May. Celebrated bell-maker Paccard will be unveiling its new bell for the abbey, which will be blessed at the start of the day to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the consecration of Aulps Abbey.

Suite à un audit mené en mars 2012, la Fédération des écomusées et des musées de société vient d’attribuer la marque QUALITE TOURISME au Domaine de découverte de la vallée d’Aulps, qui devient ainsi le deuxième établissement culturel de la région Rhône-Alpes à obtenir cette reconnaissance.

The festival - “Lind'Art: Montagnes en Résonance” - showcases and juxtaposes classical music from the West and music from another part of the world.
