MOUNTAIN BIKING IN THE PORTES DU SOLEIL
The Portes du Soleil has 20 mountain lifts open in the summer, leaving from the various resorts.
These take out a lot of the effort of mountain-biking, giving you the time to admire the scenery and get your breath back: 650km of paths between France and Switzerland are accessible via the ski lifts.

• Saint Jean d'Aulps: Saint Jean d'Aulps bubble (Wednesdays and Sundays from 4 July to 29 August)
• Avoriaz: Prodains cable car, Super Morzine bubble, Zorre chairlift
• Les Gets: Chavannes and Mont Chéry cable cars, la Pointe chairlift
• Morzine: Pléney cable car, Pointe de Nyon chairlift
• Châtel: super Châtel cable car, Morclan, Pierre Longue, and Rochassons chairlifts
• La Chapelle d'Abondance: Panthiaz cable car
• Champéry: Champéry-Planachaux cable car
• Champoussin: Aiguille des Champeys chairlift
