MOUNTAIN BIKE IN PORTES DU SOLEIL AREA
The Portes du Soleil area has 20 ski lifts open in the summer, leaving from the various resorts.
These take out a lot of the effort of mountain-biking, giving you the time to admire the scenery and get your breath back : 650 kms of paths between France and Switzerland are accessible via the ski lifts.

• Saint Jean d'Aulps : Saint Jean d'Aulps gondola lift (only Wednesdays and Sundays in July and August)
• Avoriaz : Prodains cable car, Super Morzine gondola lift, Zorre chairlift
• Les Gets : Chavannes and Mont Chéry gondola lifts, la Pointe chairlift
• Morzine : Pléney cable car, Pointe de Nyon chairlift
• Châtel : super Châtel gondola lift, Morclan, Pierre Longue, and Rochassons chairlifts
• La Chapelle d'Abondance : Panthiaz gondola lift
