Graydon Alpine Pasture

It's comprised of a circle of moraines formed by retreating glaciers.
Pastures and chapel at the foot of a beautiful cliff-face.

Starting point for numerous hikes including the tour of the Roc d'Enfer (5 ½ hours).
Just after the Graydon chapel, there's the chance to buy home-made cheese : tome abondance and goats' cheese, sold by a local farmer, who has for 25 years brought his livestock up to these high mountain pastures every summer.
Access by car via Essert Romand and by foot via la Vallette (Saint Jean d'Aulps)
