Morzine's river Dranse is an excellent location for fishing. You'll find fario trout but also very sought-after Lake Geneva fish which are unable to reproduce in the lake's temperate waters. These lake fish prefer the cool waters of the Léman's tributaries, such as the Dranse, which they swim up after the first summer storms! These trout, which are just as magnificent as their Canadian and Irish cousins, require patience and skill from anglers trying to catch them!

Catching this kind of fish requires special equipment.
