A stone's throw from the Col de l'Encrenaz, the pass separating the Chablais and the Faucigny regions, La Côte d'Abroz is nestled on the sunny side of the mountain, and ranges from 1000 to 1300 metres in altitude. Lovers of mountains of a similar height can find numerous footpaths leading to the neighbouring summits: Point d'Uble, Mont Chéry, and the south face of the Roc d'Enfer are all paradise for walkers, offering superb panoramic views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. If you keep your eyes peeled, you might spot marmottes, mouflon (wild sheep) and chamois, large herds of which live in the varied surrounding countryside, some of which is unique to the region.
