Villages

Le Biot is the administrative capital of the Vallée d'Aulps, and is 10 km from Morzine and 18 km from Thonon les Bains.
This village was one of the very first to be built along the tradesmens' routes linking this valley to that of Abondance, on the other side of the Col du Corbier.
Relics of this past activity can be seen in the village centre, with its open hall, where trade fairs and markets would attract the population of the whole valley.
Thanks to its high position, the Col du Corbier saw the birth of a small family ski resort in the 70's, called Drouzin le Mont, which lies at the top of the Aulps and Abondance valleys.
