Villages

Le Biot is the administrative capital of the Vallée d'Aulps, and is 10km from Morzine and 18km from Thonon-les-Bains.
This village was one of the very first to grow up along the trade routes linking this valley to Abondance on the other side of the Col du Corbier.
Relics of this past activity can be seen in the village centre, with its open hall, where trade fairs and markets took place, attracting people from both valleys.
Thanks to its high position, the Col du Corbier saw the birth of a small family ski resort in the 1970s, called Drouzin le Mont, which lies at the top of the Aulps and Abondance valleys.
