The place is located at 1500 meters, in a preserved area far away from lighting pollution in order to have the best sky’s view. After a little walk (approx 400meters, snowshoe walk in winter) from Le Col de L’Encrenaz (on La Côte d’Arborz village) to Veronique and Olivier’s chalet, the evening begins with a traditional alpine meal cooked on wood fire. After that, an introduction to astronomy is made by Olivier, underneath the observatory dome. With a telescope, Olivier explains you where the constellations and stars are.
